I had a Reverend-style guitar body that I really didn’t like how the finish turned out, so I decided to outource the finish this time.

I had a Reverend style body that I built that was sitting in the garage but I was really unhappy with how the finish came out. There were end grain checks that I filled with CA glue but they were still showing so I wanted a non-transparent finish on it and decided to send this out to JGP Custom Guitars to finish. It turned out really amazing and I couldn’t be happier with how he finished it.
I’m going to re-build the quilted maple top Tele I made a couple of years ago, so repurposed all of its parts, built a new pickguard, and installed on this guitar. I’m really digging the look of this one.
